Social and Other Important Diary Dates

Annual General Meeting

Tuesday March 27th 8pm Pavilion (next to Village Hall).  All members are actively encouraged to attend.  New committee members are actively encouraged to join the veteran members!  Updates on the proposed tennis courts to be discussed, plus a new constitution, wine and nibbles etc.

The locks will be changed on Sunday 8th April 2001

Wednesdays/Fridays  -  Senior Club Night

6.30 pm onwards - All senior members welcome to play doubles (or singles if space permits).  Partnerships made on arrival at the courts so come along and  mix in.  Every Wednesday and Friday until the light fails, starting as soon as weather and light permits after the A.G.M.

Mondays  - Junior Club Night

4 pm onwards - All junior members welcome to play doubles (or singles if space permits).  Definitely no adults allowed on court!  This is your night to turn the adults away!

Sundays - Family Afternoons

2 pm onwards.  The first Sunday in the month (except August), starting 13th May (because of the Bank Holiday), will be a barbecue,1.30pm onwards.  These Sunday Specials are to raise funds for the new courts and introduce a social element to the club.  Both members and non-members are invited to attend.  Non-members will be asked to pay £1 as visiting players.  Please come along and support these family afternoons which were great fun last year.  Sunday 1st July will be a Village Festival Day - more news later.
